After the Golden Years during the eigthies and the decline during those bastard nineties you can notice an increase that started in the new millenium. Slowly but surely metal is gaining worldwide recognition as we see a number of bigger metal labels signing the traditional style. Again it's the speed/thrash that is taking the lead but after these intial steps it's a matter of time other subgenres will be presented to the 'big' metal masses (again).
We hope Digital Steel can contribute this movement to world domination in 2009 and feel free to check out our site anytime.
