| | Tom, Chris, Randy, Mike and Rick from Badmouth realized that their job didn’t end with writing their music, it had to be recorded and produced by the right people. Their self-titled debut album was produced at Fortrocks Studio in California by the renowned producer Paul Sabu. The end result? An album that hooks rock and roll junkies with an addictive mix of driving beats, rich vocals and tons of attitude. So here is the debut album from Badmouth after the release from the Badmouth EP with six songs on it which are also on this album.
And I must say that after the first tunes of Pedal to the Metal I got another ticket for speeding on the highway with my car. This is straight Rock ‘n’ Roll ! Another highlight is the straight in your face rocker Cocaine Girl which one you sing along the first time you hear it. El Diablo is again a fine fast track just like the great song …And take your toothbrush with you. How does anyone come to such a title for a song ! The rest of the album is some or less mid-tempo with great feelings for guitar solo’s and refrains. A great listening tip is also The Last Train. It’s a song where all of the talent from this Rock ‘n’ Roll band comes together. Festivals in Europe if you want a party band to bring your public alive listen to the guys from Badmouth!
