10. Sinner's Prayer |  | US based Faith Factor is the new band from ex-Deadly Blessing vocalist Ski. With his new band Ski wants to bring the word of God to us all. The cover with the crusader theme says it all. But now over to the music.
Faith Factor clearly decided to go for the basic (true) heavy metal. Nothing too technical but basic down to earth metal as it was played 25 years ago. Although the musicians are adequate its Ski who is the real star of this release. Without a doubt his voice raises the songs to a higher level. When you like metal with a high pitch vocalist than this release is a must.
For me personal the songs might have been more technical to keep this release more interesting. After a few spins your mind will drift away and thats not good. Also the production should have been better.
Faith Factor delivers a debut full of old school heavy metal that fans of the genre can buy blindfolded. Other more adventurous souls should look for something else. |
