| | This is my first encounter with this Columbian band. And damn, what an encounter it is. Brutal slamming death metal of the first degree.
Pulverising, crushing but, too bad, like so many others.
Mainly, "CD" plays in the fast, too very fast regions, but they also have a few (not many)
slower pieces. Any references are "Deeds of flesh", "Disgorge" and "Mortician".
But unlike "Mortician", I don't get bored.
The vocals are of the low guttural kind but without the piglike shrieks and vocal effects.
They are beneath average human vocal range.
The lyrics are (surprise!!) of an extreme gory kind, but with a sarcastic and humorous twist.
Ok, there are hundreds of bands that use these ingredients. So what makes this band
so different? Well, there is at least one thing original about this album.
They use a piece of the opera "Carmen" as an intro
(I had to ask my mother in-law for that information).
The production is as it should be, a sick pounding sound which is a must for this slamdeath metal music.
People who are crazy about this music, can buy this blindfolded.
