VNV Nation

Sometimes you get an album which makes you wonder: “Probably the distributor aimed it’s arrows too much on the “Digital” and not on the “Steel” we stand for, pitifully.

This Irish/English duo is a bestseller in Germany and it’s very easy explained: It is music which is far beyond Rammstein, Eisbrecher or Ministry and all the guitars are nowhere to be found on this album. If your still interested, read on, but if you’re a metalhead you should forget this band and don’t poison your ears with this powerhouse/electronic/industrial/dance-combination.

To be honest, I can believe that the pushing beat of Nemesis do well during big houseparty’s “mit Drogen und schöne Mädchen”, so I’m curious to the other 5 snippets who give you a 1˝ impression of each song. No full album for us reviewers and a bit of fear for the illegal circuit is my guess. The 1st snippet Testament sounds OK but a bit soft, Descent sounds quite industrial and Illusion sounds like it should have never been recorded. For 2 full songs and 5 snippets without one string touched I can’t fix a score.
