Temujin, two members, two years of writing. Kelly and Karl Lean are the members who have spent the last few years writing their debut album. The bands country of origin is Australia, which is not very common. 1000 Tears is the first album of this band and when I see the bands name and the art I thought that they were inspired by the culture of China.

The album consists of thirteen songs, all very compact, to the point written songs. The straight guitars and great bass riffs fit perfectly together. Also the keys and drums are great. The singer doesn’t have a very special voice but nevertheless she has a quite powerful voice, something others seem to miss.

With an album like 1000 Tears this band has potential to grow, their mix is not very original or anything else special right now, but I think that they can grow a lot.
