When two powers unite there must be magic, or else they failed. The Turkish Dreamtone must have thought we want to do it different this time and when they met Iris Mavraki they knew how. Dreamtone, a progressive and powermetal act, is one of the most known Turkish bands. Iris Mavraki, on the other hand, has nothing to do with metal. Reversing Time is the first album they've created together and as far as I know they have formed a band together, which means this is not just a project but they will go on. They also invited some other guests as Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Tom Englund (Evergrey), Mike Baker (Shadow Gallery) and Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery). Not the least known artists of the scene.

Reversing Time became a kind of metal opera, at least, the musical style and also vocal style let me believe it. This is very interesting, the last few years we have had a few projects like this before. I name Aina and Avatasia. The first really impressed me, but well the second didn't yet. Reversing Time starts with a song called Shooting Star, which is quite nice, but then they awake. Each song just is a masterpiece. I am stunned by the power of Iris' voice. She really knows how to sing. Also the other vocals are from a very high quality. Also the use of the guestsingers is very good. Tom Englund has some very powerfull chords in World Beyond These Walls. The use of these singers just gives the music a new dimension.

I really don't know what more to say than just go and listen to this wonderful piece of art. The album is well balanced. Their genre is something as melodic power metal, or should it be progressive? I don't know but I do know that it is a must have!
